The small-cap stock of CCRT ended the day 28.83% lower at $4.37. The stock touched an intra-day low of $4.19 in Thursday’s trading session.

CCRT shares plunged after the company announced preliminary results of its cash tender offer to purchase up to 8,250,000 shares of its common stock, no par value per share, at a purchase price of $10 per share. The tender offer expired at 11.59 PM, EST on September 12, 2012.

CCRT said that as of expiration date, 23,229,491 shares of common stock were validly tendered and not withdrawn in the tender offer, which includes 3,213,680 shares tendered through notice of guaranteed delivery. Based on this, CCRT expects to accept for payment 8,250,000 shares of common stock at a purchase price of $10 per share, for a total cost of around $82.5 million.

The tender offer was announced by the company last month.

Last month, CCRT also announced the sale of its charged-off debt buying operations, Jefferson Capital to Flexpoint Fund II L.P. for $130.5 million, of which $10.8 million will be received by CCRT if certain performance targets are met by December 31, 2014.

David G. Hanna, Chairman and CEO of CompuCredit, said last month that he is very pleased with the terms of agreement as it provides the company a very favorable return on its Jefferson Capital investment as well as capital that can be used for expansion of CCRT’s point-of-sale retail customer lending platform, auto lending platform and other businesses with long-term growth potential that provide attractive returns. Hanna added that CCRT is actively exploring other uses of the capital generated by the sale, including stock buybacks and dividends.

The stock has been trading so far in the range of $0.25 and $0.2780. It opened today at $0.2520 and at the last check, it was trading at $0.2725, which was a 7.96% increase from its previous day close of $0.2524. FNMA had been between $0.19 and $0.4050 in the previous 52 weeks. The company’s total market cap stood at $1570.02 million and recorded earnings per share of $-1.77.

FNMA had opened today at a price slightly below to the previous day close price but increased quickly to $0.2560 within few minutes of market open. Then it reached steeply to its intraday high of $0.2780 but dropped to $0.2701 by mid half of the day.

It had traded quite heavily so far for the day with the trading volume of 4.84 million compared to its average 5 day volume of 1.92 million shares and its daily average volume of 4.67 million shares.

Fannie Mae along with Freddie Mac had recently announced their guidance towards the program, “Keep Your Home California and Other States Fund”. This program is part of the Obama administration’s Hardest Hit Fund initiative, which uses federal funds from the 2008 Wall Street bailout to help borrowers at risk of foreclosure. It allows the financially stressed borrowers to reduce their mortgage principal amounts by using Taxpayer funds.

Under its Fannie Mae Guaranteed Multifamily Structures (Fannie Mae GeMS) program, it had recently priced its seventh Multifamily DUS REMIC in 2012 totaling $700 million.

Kimberly Johnson, vice president of FNMA Multifamily Capital Markets claimed that FNA 2012-M11 is the first GeMS REMIC backed by floating rate collateral. He also quoted that the Depository Institutions are showing quite a lot of interest and confidence over this deal since all classes of the REMIC are guaranteed by Fannie Mae with respect to the full and timely payment of interest and principal.

As per the latest released quarterly results for the period ending June 2012, the company showed continuous improvement in its financial position; its operating income increased by 277% to $5.2 billion and net income was at $5.1 billion. Its total assets were worth $3195.6 billion including $24.73 billion worth of cash and its equivalents.  Total liabilities were $3192.85 billion, among which over 99% was long term. It also paid its 2nd quarter dividend of $2.9 billion to the Department of Treasury.

The penny stock of ONCY ended the day 12.06% lower at $2.48. The stock has pared some of its losses in pre-market trading today, gaining 2.42% to $2.54.

Earlier today, ONCY announced preliminary results from its U.S. Phase 2 clinical trials in patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the lung (SCCLC) using intravenous administration of REOLYSIN® in combination with carboplatin and paclitaxel.

REOLYSIN is ONCY’s proprietary formulation of human reovirus.

The primary aim of the Phase 2 trial is to evaluate the antitumor effect of the treatment regimen in the study population in terms of objective response rates. The company said that the primary endpoint of the study was met after 15 evaluable patients were enrolled.

Dr. Brad Thompson, CEO of Oncolytics Biotech, said that the preliminary results are encouraging and further supportive of the decision to conduct a randomized Phase II study REOLYSIN in non-small lung cancer (NSCLC) patients including those with SCCLC. Thompson said that the Oncolytics Phase II program continues to grow and now includes randomized trials in six separate indications.

On Wednesday, ONCY had provided an update on Phase III study of REOLYSIN in head and neck cancers. The company said that the median evolving progression free survival for 80 patients enrolled in the first stage of the study was greater than expected as was the best response rate. Further evaluation showed that patients for whom only metastatic disease was being measured by clinicians, were responding differently to the treatment than patients who had local regional head and neck disease.

Based on the differential PFS, ONCY has identified two distinct patients groups are being enrolled in the clinical study and therefore the two groups of patients must be considered to be different for the purpose of both analysis and investigation.

ONCY’s CEO said that segregating and separately evaluating the two identified patient groups means, the company will be able to obtain its first randomized data in the two patient populations, including one with only metastatic disease.

In order to shift the company more towards labor intensive contracts, Bulova Technologies Ordnance Systems LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bulova Technologies Group Inc. (BLVT) has entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement and a Commercial Real Estate Contract to dispose of substantially all of its assets for a sale price of $11.2 million.

The payment of the sales price will be made as a cash payment of approximately $6.6 million and a note receivable from the buyer of approximately $3.6 million. This amount will relieve BLVT and its subsidiaries from high interest debt that is currently in default and to provide working capital to ensure future growth.

According to management, the assets being sold consist of all those assets and properties that are used in or pertaining to the defense contracting business operations of the subsidiary.

BLVT’s consolidated revenues decreased by 62% to $0.62 million from that of June 2011 and net losses reduced by 48% to $1.98 million from $3.78 million. Total assets were worth $5.45 million including $0.034 as cash and its equivalents and total liabilities were 18.76 million, among which 93% were current and the remaining were long-term liabilities.

It has 100 percent stake in Blue Jack property. The property consists of 10 mineral claims and is spread over 206 acres. It is located in Nevada. YTRV also owns interest in Minnie Claim in Washington state. The company is also diversified into the acquisition of oil and gas properties. It mainly concentrates on Texas properties. The company is based out of Lubbock and it was formed in 2006.

The penny stock of TNSX ended the day 666.67% higher at $0.0115, with volume up from daily average of 19,154 to 36.70 million. The stock touched a 52-week high of $0.03 in Tuesday’s trading session.

In a recent filing, TNSX said that its main focus is to function as a “one stop shop” for the sourcing, distribution and specialty manufacturing of toys and related products. TNSX conducts its operations through BT Brunei, which focuses on export sales, and BT Shantou, which focuses on domestic sales.

TNSX said in the filing that it sources toys to distributors, trading companies, and wholesalers primarily located in mainland China, Hong Kong, Europe, South America, and Asia.

Asia accounts for majority of TNSX’s revenue. Outside of Asia, Great Britain is TNSX’s biggest market. The company currently has limited customers in the U.S.

According to the filing, TNSX had consolidated revenue of $4.8 million for the first quarter of 2012, compared to $300,000 reported for the same period in the previous year. The increase in sales was due to $4.5 million of sales revenue of BT Brunei, which was established in the second quarter of 2011.

During the first quarter of 2012, three major customers accounted for approximately 43.8% of TNSX’s total revenue. The Great Britain market accounted for 29% of the total first-quarter revenue, the company said in the filing.

TNSX plans to use BT Brunei to continue to increase its customer base for export sales of toys. Meanwhile, the company continues to expand its domestic distribution sales channels within China through BT Shantou.

For the first quarter of 2012, TNSX reported gross profit of $0.5 million. The company’s consolidated gross margin for the quarter stood at 11%. Net income for the first quarter was $0.2 million, compared to $15,086 reported for the same period in the previous year.

MFTH opened Tuesday at a price much above its previous day close price and increased steeply to $0.0058 within few minutes of market open. Then it rose further up gradually and reached its intraday high of $0.0071 by mid half of the day. Later in the afternoon, it stabilized around $0.0060 and closed at $0.0062 by end of the day.

The market continues to respond well and be positive to the company’s recent announcement about its special dividend plan. MFTH anticipates surplus income by end of September and plans to pay out a non-recurring special dividend of $0.01 per stock for all of its stockholders.

In order to expand its R&D to other life saving devices, the company is selling the license for its patented technology for a onetime payment of $7 million. By this sale, it transfers rights for the full commercialization, marketing and distribution of its patented medicinal locking mechanism and bar-code matching system that prevents unauthorized administration of prescription medications. It expects the sale to be over within a month.

There has been a lot of change happening in its Capital Structure. MFTH recently issued 100 million additional shares on Common Stock category as part of the compensation to its president Jacob Elhadad and to the CFO and secretary of MFTH, Yisrael Gottlieb.

Also, MFTH had recently acquired 3.1 million shares for under $0.001 each through its share repurchase program. The management claimed that the program is to help them acquire additional technologies that will support their product line.

The increase was mainly due to higher revenue and gross profit realized by the company in the first quarter of 2012. This was offset partially by an increase of $0.4 million in selling, general and administrative expenses.

As of March 31, 2012, TNSX had working capital of $2 million, which included $0.2 million in cash on hand.
