Penny Stock Freddie Mac (FMCC) climbed 3.68% on Better that Usual Volume

Shares of Freddie Mac (OTC: FMCC), a government-sponsored enterprise that conducts business in the U.S. residential mortgage market and the global securities market under the direction of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), climbed in Thursday’s trading session.

The penny stock of Freddie Mac ended the day 3.68% higher at $0.394, with volume up from daily average of 2.31 million to 6.99 million. The stock gained 17.13% in the last three trading sessions.

Freddie Mac announced on Thursday that it priced its new 0.50% $4.5 billion three-year USD Reference Notes® security due on April 17, 2015. The issue was priced at 99.728 to yield 0.587% or 20 basis points more than three-year U.S. Treasury Notes. The company expects the issue to settle on February 21, 2012.
