Shares of Platinum Studios Inc. (OTC: PDOS), an entertainment company that controls an international library of comic book characters, surged in Thursday’s trading session. The penny stock of Platinum Studios rose 10.53% to finish the day at $0.0021, with volume up from daily average of 5.43 million to 32.06 million.
Platinum Studios shares surged in Thursday’s trading session after the company’s chairman Scott Mitchell Rosenberg and producer Mark Canton announced that they are immediately putting the Platinum Studios comic book ATLANTIS RISING into development for a new, ongoing film franchise.
Canton, who is a noted entertainment industry executive and motion picture producer, said that ATLANTIS RISING has the franchise potential of MEN IN BLACK and that he is looking forward to bringing it to the screen with Platinum as a dynamic, state of the art action thriller.
Rosenberg said that ATLANTIS RISING is a provocative sci-fi thriller that at its core brings up the question; whose planet is this.
